Volleyball Recap: Mesa Verde Takes a Loss

Mesa Verde was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 25th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Vacaville Christian Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-9, 25-6.

Mesa Verde's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Vacaville Christian, with the win, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 14-11.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Mesa Verde is set to take on their familiar foe Lindhurst at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Vacaville Christian will face off against rival Rio Vista at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
