Basketball Recap: New Egypt Takes a Loss

On Saturday, the New Egypt Warriors were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 55-49 to the Nottingham Northstars.

New Egypt now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Nottingham, their win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-2.

New Egypt and Steinert will round out the year against one another at on Friday. New Egypt is facing Steinert at the right time seeing as Steinert is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Nottingham will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Point Pleasant Boro on Friday. One thing working in Point Pleasant Boro's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
