Liberty Center had lost six games straight , but after bumping their record up to 4-7 on Monday that streak is in the rearview. They blew past the Eastwood Eagles 12-3. The Tigers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

As for Eastwood, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 15-4 record. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for they, who until this game were averaging 3.89 runs allowed.

For Eastwood's part, Kadyn Donnell was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Drew Kachmarik was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Looking ahead, Liberty Center will head out on the road to square off against Hicksville at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
