Basketball Recap: Lanier Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Zach Martinez and Dominyk De La Rosa

Lanier's loss came despite strong showings from Dominyk De La Rosa and Zach Martinez. De La Rosa dropped a double-double with 24 points and 14 boards, while Martinez posted 29 points and five steals. Martinez's big performance that evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Anthony Rabago, who scored eight points and seven rebounds.

Having lost for the first time this season, Lanier fell to 6-1. As for Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-5.
