Softball Recap: Danville Takes a Loss

Danville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 23rd straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Hector Wildcats, falling 12-1. The Little Johns were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2019.

Danville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Hector, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.

Danville and Hector will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matches. The next time Danville sees the field they'll take on St. Joseph at 4:30 p.m. on the 31st. As for Hector, their break will end when they face Jasper at 4:30 p.m. on the 31st.
