Baseball Game Preview: Lewisburg Patriots vs. Redan Raiders

The Lewisburg Patriots will square off against the Redan Raiders at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lewisburg is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

On Tuesday, Lewisburg made easy work of Lake Cormorant and carried off a 12-5 win.

Brady Rodgers looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits.

At the plate, Andrew Hendrichovsky and Caden Nelson did most of the damage at the plate: Hendrichovsky scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3, while Nelson scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Hendrichovsky also put up an RBI, which was his first of the season. Garrett Latham was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 15 runs the game before, Redan was a bit more limited in their contest on Saturday. They lost 9-0 to Dunwoody. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Raiders have suffered since February 26, 2024.

Matthew Evans was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases and one double. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March of 2024.

Lewisburg's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Redan, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
