After each having a week off, the Bradshaw Christian Pride and the Woodland Christian Cardinals will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Last Friday, Bradshaw Christian got the win against Rosemont by a conclusive 32-6. The Pride pushed the score to 32-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Wolverines cut but never quite recovered from.

Devin Hatcher was his usual excellent self, rushing for 107 yards and two TDs on only ten carries, while also picking up 30 receiving yards. Mason Billington helped out on the ground, rushing for 109 yards.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Bradshaw Christian was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 260 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 260 rushing yards in five consecutive contests.
Bradshaw Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Billington and Carson Fitzpatrick. Billington got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Woodland Christian came tearing into two weeks ago's matchup with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.6 points), and they left with even more momentum. They took their game with ease, bagging a 53-0 victory over the Grizzlies. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Cardinals' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 189th, while the Grizzlies are ranked 666th).
Bradshaw Christian better keep an eye on Isaiah Hunt. He was instrumental in Woodland Christian's win, throwing for 402 yards and three touchdowns while completing 89.3% of his passes. That's the most passing yards Hunt has posted since back in August. Oliver Holleman helped Hunt out on the ground, rushing for 66 yards and one score.
Bradshaw Christian's record is now 8-2. As for Woodland Christian, their record now sits at 9-1.
Everything went Bradshaw Christian's way against Woodland Christian when the teams last played back in August of 2024, as Bradshaw Christian made off with a 27-6 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pride since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
