Baseball Game Preview: Chester Clippers vs. Interboro Buccaneers

Chester hasn't had much luck against Interboro recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Clippers will challenge the Buccaneers at 3:45 p.m. Chester has given up an average of 10.5 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Chester came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Chichester, falling 18-0.

Meanwhile, Interboro came up short against Sun Valley on Saturday and fell 8-3. The Buccaneers have struggled against the Vanguards recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Interboro saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Scott Poluchuck, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Chester's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Interboro, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.

Chester suffered a grim 11-0 defeat to Interboro in their previous matchup back in April. Can the Clippers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
