Volleyball Recap: East Palestine Bulldogs vs. United Golden Eagles
After flying high against Wellsville last Thursday, East Palestine came back down to earth. The Bulldogs came up short against the United Golden Eagles on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Golden Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.
While East Palestine was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-20, 25-12.
Destiney Burtyk paced East Palestine's offense, picking up eight kills. Burtyk got some help from Kennedy Andre and her eight assists. Andre was also solid from the service line: she led the team with nine aces.
