Center took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They came out on top against Dove Creek by a score of 3-1.

Meanwhile, Sanford suffered their biggest loss since October 25, 2024 on Thursday. They came up short against Centauri, falling 3-0. The loss was the Mustangs' first of the season.

Sanford took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-19, 25-23.

The victory got Center back to even at 8-8. As for Sanford, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 10-1.
