Basketball Recap: Crossover Prep Takes a Loss

After flying high against Olive last Saturday, Crossover Prep came back down to earth. The Crossover Prep Lions fell just short of the Aspire HomeSchool Trailblazers by a score of 74-72 on Tuesday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (65), the Lions still had to take the loss.

Crossover Prep's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-3. As for Aspire HomeSchool, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-4.

Crossover Prep will host Varsity Opponent at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Aspire HomeSchool, they will venture away from home to challenge Union Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Aspire HomeSchool knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Union Christian Academy likes a good challenge.
