Softball Recap: Cedar Hill Longhorns vs. Lancaster Tigers
Cedar Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 11-10 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lancaster Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-5 back in March.

Lily WILLIAMS was huge no matter where she played even without the win. On the mound, she struck out 15 batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and six unearned) runs off only two hits. That's the fewest hits she has allowed since back in February. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played.
In other batting news, Jazliene Malone made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Cedar Hill's loss dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Lancaster, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 18-7 record.
