Meanwhile, Esperanza had just enough and edged out El Modena 58-56 on Tuesday. The Aztecs haven't had any issues with the Vanguards recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Esperanza's win bumped their record up to 22-3. As for Pacifica, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-12.
