Southland is 8-2 against Wilson since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Southland Eagles will head out to take on the Wilson Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. Southland is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Wilson can finally bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They blew past Cotton Center, posting a 58-30 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Mustangs have posted since November 14, 2023.

Wilson's victory ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-12. As for Southland, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

Everything went Southland's way against Wilson when the teams last played back in February of 2024, as Southland made off with a 55-33 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Southland since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
