Softball Recap: Roy Comes Up Short

If Roy was riding high fresh off their 13-0 takedown of Woods Cross on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Royals came up short against the Clearfield Falcons on Thursday, falling 19-5. The Royals were not able to make up for their loss to the Falcons from their previous meeting back in April of 2025.

Roy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Clearfield, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-2.

Roy and Clearfield will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Royals see the field they'll take on Fremont at 3:30 p.m. on April 7. As for Clearfield, their break will end when they face Farmington at 3:30 p.m. on April 6.
