South Pittsburg got themselves on the board against Moore County on Tuesday, but Moore County never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Raiders with a sharp 11-0 victory. With that win, the Pirates brought their scoring average up to 6.5 runs per game.
Kaylee Kilgore was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 13 over six innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk any time she's pitched this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two doubles. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in April of 2024.
