Volleyball Recap: Sylmar Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Sylmar had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 1-0 W against Non Varsity Opponent. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 on Friday.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Sylmar got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21.

Sylmar pushed their record up to 12-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Sylmar has already played their next game, a 1-0 defeat against Fairfax on the 8th. Non Varsity Opponent will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Franklin County at 6:00 p.m. on March 18th.
