Football Recap: Yulee Takes a Loss

Yulee's game on Monday was all tied up 7-7 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 14-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ponte Vedra Sharks. The contest marked the Hornets' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Izzy Murray had another great game (as she tends to do), throwing for 190 yards and one touchdown, while also punching in one TD on the ground for Ponte Vedra.

Yulee's loss dropped their record down to 11-3. As for Ponte Vedra, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-1.

Yulee has already played their next match, a 19-6 victory against Raines on the 15th. As for Ponte Vedra, they will challenge Bartram Trail at 7:30 p.m. on the 16th. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Sharks 7.1, the Bears 12.2) so any points scored will be well earned.
