Basketball Recap: Fleming Comes Up Short

Fleming was the 61-57 winner over George Washington when they last played one another back in November of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Fleming Colonels took a 54-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the George Washington Eagles on Saturday. The Colonels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fleming's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for George Washington, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fleming will be home for the holidays to greet Glass at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for George Washington, they will welcome Bassett at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
