Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Gianna Gjokaj and Chloe Harry Lead St. Charles East to Victory

St. Charles East entered their tilt with Belvidere North on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Blue Thunder. The Fighting Saints were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Blue Thunder, so the Fighting Saints were just returning the favor.

Leading St. Charles East to victory were Chloe Harry and Gianna Gjokaj. Harry had nine digs, while Gjokaj had nine digs and one assist. That's the most digs Gjokaj has posted over her last five matches. Ava Romero also deserves some recognition as she had her first blocks of the season.

St. Charles East's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Belvidere North, their loss dropped their record down to 12-7.
