Volleyball Recap: Victory Christian Academy's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

Victory Christian Academy lost against Mission Bay back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Knights fell 2-0 to the Buccaneers. The Knights' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Victory Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Brad Chier, who had 11 kills and nine digs. Chier is on a roll when it comes to kills, as he's now had seven or more in each of the last 17 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Esteban Torres, who had 15 assists.

Victory Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Mission Bay, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 13-6.
