Basketball Recap: Plainview Gets the Win

Plainview extended their postseason success on Friday against Bishop McGuinness. They secured a 53-49 W over the Bishop McGuinness Fighting Irish. This was payback for the Indians, who suffered a 47-44 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Abby Chaney continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double with 23 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Plainview's points. Another player making a difference was Kamrey Martin, who posted nine points.

Plainview's victory bumped their record up to 11-13. As for Bishop McGuinness, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-15 record this season.

As of now, neither Plainview nor Bishop McGuinness have any future games scheduled.
