Basketball Recap: Tripoli Takes a Loss

Tripoli was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 38-34 heartbreaker at the hands of the Don Bosco Dons. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Dons earlier this season, when they won 43-39.

Tripoli's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Don Bosco, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-8.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Tripoli Panthers take on the Riceville Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Riceville will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something Tripoli surely won't give up without a fight. As for Don Bosco, they will square off against Clarksville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
