The Osmond/Randolph Hawks won the last time they faced the Winside Wildcats, and things went their way on Monday too. Osmond/Randolph enjoyed a cozy 39-22 win over Winside.
Among those leading the charge was Keli Aschoff, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophie Gansebom, who scored five points along with five rebounds.
Osmond/Randolph's victory ended a eight-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-11. As for Winside, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.
Osmond/Randolph won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Laurel-Concord-Coleridge at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Laurel-Concord-Coleridge presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Osmond/Randolph in Nebraska (Laurel-Concord-Coleridge is ranked 93rd, while Osmond/Randolph is ranked 241st). As for Winside, they will head out on the road to challenge Bancroft-Rosalie on Thursday.
