Volleyball Recap: Bergan Catholic Find Success

Bergan Catholic proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by three) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a set and slipped past the Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Bears 2-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Knights also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2019.

Zoe Janke was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 19 digs and two aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last seven matches. Reese Barton was another key player, getting three digs and three aces.

Bergan Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Laurel-Concord-Coleridge, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 17-1.

Bergan Catholic has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Battle Creek on the 27th. As for Laurel-Concord-Coleridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against O'Neill on the 27th.
