Volleyball Recap: Aqqaluk Comes Up Short

Aqqaluk was the 3-1 winner over Napaaqtugmiut when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bears fell just short of the Lynx by a score of 2-1 on Friday. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Aqqaluk started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-20, 25-20.

Aqqaluk now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Napaaqtugmiut, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Coincidentally, Aqqaluk and Napaaqtugmiut will both be playing Buckland the next time they take the court. The Bears will head out to face the Sissauni at 7:15 p.m. on Friday, while the Lynx will play them later in the day, at 8:30 p.m.
