Basketball Recap: Trinity Bryant Key Part of a Team Effort in Red Devils Win

Grand County's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They blew past the San Juan Broncos 59-39. The win continues a trend for the Red Devils in their matchups with the Broncos: they've now won four in a row.

Grand County got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Trinity Bryant out in front who almost dropped a triple-double on 19 points, 12 rebounds, and nine steals. That's the most boards Bryant has posted since back in November of 2024. Ainsleigh Kasprick was another key player, putting up 19 points in addition to six rebounds and five steals.

Grand County smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in four consecutive matches.

Grand County's record now sits at 12-9. As for San Juan, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Grand County will welcome Merit Preparatory Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for San Juan, they will head out to square off against American Leadership Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. San Juan is facing American Leadership Academy at the right time seeing as American Leadership Academy is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
