Basketball Recap: Winamac Comes Up Short

Winamac lost against Delphi Community last Sunday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Winamac Warriors fell to the Delphi Community Oracles 51-45. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Winamac lost, don't look at Justin Potthoff. Despite the final result, he posted 17 points along with five rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Brendan Hines, who earned nine points.

Winamac now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Delphi Community, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Winamac will be playing in front of their home fans against North Miami at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Delphi Community, they will venture away from home to challenge Faith Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
