Volleyball Recap: Hixson Takes a Loss

After flying high against Sequatchie County on Tuesday, Hixson came back down to earth. The Wildcats lost 3-0 to the CSTHEA Patriots on Thursday. The Wildcats have struggled against the Patriots recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-11, 25-13.

Hixson's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for CSTHEA, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

Hixson will be playing in front of their home fans against East Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for CSTHEA, they are taking a road trip to challenge Boyd-Buchanan at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
