Millwood has gone a perfect 3-0 against Amelia Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Bobcats will take on the Patriots at 6:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

While Bobcats fans will have to keep waiting for their squad to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Tuesday's season opener. They blew past Buford Road Christian Academy 66-42 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Amelia Academy took their game on Wednesday with ease, bagging a 68-33 win over Fuqua. The Patriots pushed the score to 59-21 by the end of the third, a deficit the Falcons cut but never quite recovered from.

Millwood better focus on containing Abdoul Tahirou and Shayne Jackson as the pair were huge in Amelia Academy's win. Tahirou made all 9 shots he took to post 19 points along with seven boards and three steals, while Jackson went 8-for-15 on his way to 17 points and three steals. Vayden White was another key player, putting up six points in addition to ten rebounds and three steals.

Everything came up roses for Millwood against Amelia Academy in their previous matchup back in December of 2016, as the team secured a 100-71 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bobcats since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
