Basketball Game Preview: Glasgow Scotties vs. Barren County Trojans

Glasgow is 1-9 against Barren County since January of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Glasgow Scotties will take on the Barren County Trojans at 7:30 p.m.

Glasgow is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game on Tuesday. They lost 61-39 to Warren East.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Barren County). They blew past Russellville 83-45 on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Trojans sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Barren County is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.6 points per game. As for Glasgow, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12.

Glasgow couldn't quite finish off Barren County in their previous matchup two weeks ago and fell 49-47. Can Glasgow avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
