Big Horn lost against Rocky Mountain back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Big Horn Rams took a 42-29 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rocky Mountain Grizzlies. The Rams' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

When it comes to explaining why Big Horn lost, don't look at Emme Grace Mullinax. Despite the final result, she almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds. Grace Mullinax is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last four games she's played.

Rocky Mountain was led to victory by Lauren Bassett and Kaysie Cooley. Bassett dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten boards, while Cooley posted 13 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Brittly Boettcher, who put up three points in addition to five boards and three steals.

Big Horn's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Rocky Mountain, they pushed their record up to 12-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Tongue River the next time they take the court. Big Horn will host Tongue River at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Rocky Mountain will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
