Nottoway was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fifth to second in 2A Conference 34. Earlier in the week, the Cougars defeated Randolph-Henry 42-32.

Prince Edward County fell to Lunenburg Central 48-13 last week, the largest margin of any game. Devonte Wardell ran for 83 yards in the defeat.

Nottoway's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Balik Brown threw for 99 yards and Shalik Brown had 58 yards receiving. On the ground Jujuan Lawson chipped in 179 yards. Antonio Brooks helped Nottoway's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 29 yards.

Grayson Throckmorton's team's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver.
