Basketball Recap: Kingman Takes a Loss

Kingman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Trinity Celtics and fell 70-38. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 73-45 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Dawson Wood, who went 7 for 17 en route to 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Bradshaw, who went 5 of 9 on his way to 13 points and eight boards.

Kingman's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Trinity, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-8 record.

Kingman has already played their next matchup (against Douglass), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Trinity wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 52-30 win against Smoky Valley on the 28th.
