Basketball Game Preview: Carroll Tigers vs. Ray Texans

Carroll is 1-9 against Ray since December of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Carroll Tigers will head out to face off against the Ray Texans at 7:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Carroll will bounce into Tuesday's match after beating Miller, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Carroll managed a 62-58 win over Miller on Friday.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Ray over Corpus Christi Moody in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Ray blew Corpus Christi Moody out of the water with an 80-18 final score. That 62 point margin sets a new team best for the Texans this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Ray and bumps their season record up to 22-10. As for Carroll, their record is now 15-17.

Carroll was taken down by Ray 80-51 in their previous meeting back in January. Can Carroll avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
