Recap: Da Vinci Dragons vs. Westwood Panthers
The Da Vinci Dragons pushed their score all the way to 56 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 64-56 to Westwood.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Westwood to victory, but perhaps none more so than Derik Boston anderson, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kavian Bryant, who scored 20 points.
Da Vinci's defeat dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Westwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.
Da Vinci's road trip will continue as they head out to face Orangefield at 7:30 p.m. on December 28th. Orangefield is coming into the contest hot, having won their last 16 games. Westwood won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Venus at 9:00 a.m. on December 29th.
