The Gilbert/Northwestern/Housatonic Yellowjackets will venture away from home to face off against the Naugatuck Greyhounds at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Gilbert/Northwestern/Housatonic has struggled recently with five defeats in a row, while Naugatuck will arrive with four straight wins.

Gilbert/Northwestern/Housatonic will head into Saturday's contest ready to turn things around: they lost a close one when they played last Friday but unfortunately for them the loss they were handed on Saturday was a bit more commanding. Naugatuck didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Eli Pena and Xavier Blue. Blue also set a new season high mark in total tackles with six. Another thorn in Watertown's side was Ethan Williams, who made 12 total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Naugatuck was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 407 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 247 rushing yards in four consecutive games.

Gilbert/Northwestern/Housatonic's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Naugatuck, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.
