Baseball Recap: St. Augustine Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact St. Augustine can now relate to. They fell just short of the Granite Hills Eagles by a score of 6-4 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Saints have suffered since April 17th.

St. Augustine saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Wick, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

St. Augustine's defeat dropped their record down to 20-11-1. As for Granite Hills, they pushed their record up to 23-0-2 with the win, which was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season.

As of now, neither St. Augustine nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
