Tyler extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to five on Friday, dropping them down to 0-2. They had to suffer through a 48-21 loss at the hands of the Tyler Legacy Raiders. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Lions have suffered against the Raiders since September 7, 2019.

Tyler lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Trey Haralson, who picked up 72 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Ashton Arriaga was another key player, gaining 98 total yards and a touchdown.

As for Tyler Legacy, the win got them back to even at 1-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Tyler has already played their next contest, a 63-0 victory against Seagoville on the 12th. As for Tyler Legacy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 49-33 loss against Marshall on the 12th.
