Softball Game Preview: Lindsay Knights vs. Bryson Cowboys

The Lindsay Knights will face off against the Bryson Cowboys at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

Bryson will be up against a hot Lindsay team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. Lindsay never let Saint Jo get on the board and left with an 18-0 victory on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won six games by six runs or more so far this season.

Kinley Dangelmayr looked comfortable as she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

On the hitting side, Kylie Hielckert was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Reagan Swaney, who scored three runs while going 2-for-2.

Lindsay always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .828. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, Bryson lost 34-24 to Nocona on Wednesday.

Lindsay's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Bryson, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
