Football Recap: Southeast Takes a Loss + How To Watch

The Southeast Pirates came up short against the Brookfield Warriors on Friday, falling 44-20.

Despite the loss, Southeast saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Tyler Shaw rushed for 97 yards, and also threw for 91 yards and one touchdown.

Rico Smith had an outrageously good game for Brookfield as he rushed for 49 yards and a pair of scores, and also picked up 65 receiving yards and one TD.

Southeast dropped their record down to 3-5 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Brookfield, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-4.
