Basketball Game Preview: Eastern York Golden Knights vs. Berks Catholic Saints

The Eastern York Golden Knights will head out to face off against the Berks Catholic Saints at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Monday, Eastern York didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Big Spring, but they still walked away with a 66-62 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Golden Knights.

Meanwhile, Berks Catholic didn't have too much trouble with Susquehanna Township on Monday as they won 61-42. That's two games straight that the Saints have won by exactly 19 points.

Eastern York's win bumped their record up to 19-4. As for Berks Catholic, they have been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season.

Eastern York beat Berks Catholic 51-44 when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Will Eastern York repeat their success, or does Berks Catholic have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
