Baseball Game Preview: Norwin Knights vs. Canon-McMillan Big Macs

For the second straight game, Norwin will face off against Canon-McMillan. The Knights will head out to take on the Big Macs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

On Wednesday, Norwin didn't have quite enough to beat Canon-McMillan and fell 4-3. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

For Canon-McMillan's part, Sebastian Shulsky tossed a big game, striking out ten batters over 6.1 innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits (and not a single walk). Shulsky has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Alex Shank was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and three RBI.

The win (which was Canon-McMillan's eighth in a row) raised their record to 8-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Norwin, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.
