Basketball Recap: Pulaski County Comes Up Short

Pulaski County lost to North Laurel back in February of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Maroons received a blow as they fell 83-65 to the Jaguars. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (59), the Maroons still had to take the loss.

This is the second loss in a row for Pulaski County and nudges their season record down to 10-6. As for North Laurel, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pulaski County will face off against Rockcastle County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Laurel, they will host Red Bird at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The Jaguars will be up against the Cardinals' rather soft defense (which has allowed 63.63 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
