Football Game Preview: North Creek Jaguars vs. Juanita Ravens

The North Creek Jaguars will head out to take on the Juanita Ravens at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Juanita took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on North Creek, who comes in off a win.

North Creek took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 46-28 win over Highline. The Jaguars' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North Creek to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kaeden Weaver, who picked up 131 receiving yards and three TDs. Those 131 receiving yards gave Weaver a new career-high. Another back making a difference was Elijah Payne, who rushed for 158 yards and one score.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something North Creek proved: they limited Highline to a paltry one yards per carry. The Jaguars didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 5.7.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Juanita faced off against Issaquah on Thursday. The Ravens were beaten by the Eagles 41-14. The Ravens' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

North Creek's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Juanita, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-4.

North Creek came up short against Juanita when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 24-17.
