Baseball Recap: Stratton Comes Up Short

Stratton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Burlington Cougars, falling 12-5. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 8-0 to the Cougars when the teams met back in April of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Stratton's record now sits at 9-7. As for Burlington, their win bumped their record up to 4-9.

Stratton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Burlington, they will square off against Peyton at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Cougars surely won't give up without a fight.
