Baseball Recap: Choctawhatchee Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Choctawhatchee can now relate to. They came up short against the Arnold Marlins on Thursday, falling 11-1. The Indians were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Marlins earlier this season, when they won 7-4.

Choctawhatchee's defeat dropped their record down to 18-15. As for Arnold, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-7 record this season.

Choctawhatchee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Arnold, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Clay at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Marlins 2.7, the Blue Devils 3.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
