Football Game Preview: Cusick Panthers vs. Inchelium Hornets + How To Watch

The Cusick Panthers will venture away from home to challenge the Inchelium Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Cusick took a loss when they played away from home back in September, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. Everything went their way against Mary Walker as they made off with a 42-22 win. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Chargers: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Inchelium faced Wilbur-Creston-Keller in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Hornets lost to the Wildcats at home by a 54-38 margin. The Hornets have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Cusick will need to focus on slowing down Gaige Stensgar, one of several Inchelium players who made an impact when they last played. He threw for 112 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 52 receiving yards and one score. Derek Perez was another key player, gaining 210 total yards.

Cusick's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Inchelium, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.
