Football Recap: Hart County Bulldogs vs. Lumpkin County Indians
Hart County lost against Lumpkin County back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hart County Bulldogs fell just short of the Lumpkin County Indians by a score of 28-25. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Leading Lumpkin County to victory were Cal Faulkner and Nolan Matthews. Faulkner rushed for 101 yards and a touchdown, while Matthews rushed for 116 yards and two touchdowns.
Hart County now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Lumpkin County, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hart County will square off against Flowery Branch at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lumpkin County, they will take on Dunwoody at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
