Basketball Recap: Pinconning Takes a Loss

Pinconning was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Standish-Sterling Panthers, falling 58-33. That's two games in a row now that the Spartans have lost by exactly 25 points.

Pinconning's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Standish-Sterling, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Pinconning will take on Meridian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meridian will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Pinconning surely won't give up without a fight. Standish-Sterling has already played their next match (against Gladwin), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
